Both Colin and Jackie began as scouted schoolboy players, and both worked their way up through the professional game, experiencing first-hand the highs, lows and pressures of football.
From starting with Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United at 17, Colin can claim over 400 senior appearances, including play-offs, cup finals and international games. Jackie joined Chelsea’s youth ranks at 15, pursuing a playing career and later coaching roles – culminating in becoming a coach and player mentor at Manchester United’s Academy.
In parallel with their football careers, Jackie and Colin also committed to academic studies. Colin qualified as a solicitor having completed his LLB Honours Degree and Postgraduate in Law (LPC) during his playing days. Jackie successfully completed a three year BSc Honours degree in Sports and Business Management.
It seemed that few intermediaries could offer personal experience of the professional game combined with the technical knowledge and know how required to maximise a player’s career and earnings.
